What’s a Doula?
Quite simply, a doula assists with transition at birth or at at the end of life.
An end-of-life doula has knowledge about the nuances of dying, gained through training and experience, but is often not a medical professional.

I offer gentle guidance through the end-of-life process by listening and reflecting your thoughts to help you adjust to the idea of dying and make decisions. If it is your preference, I can aim to be in attendance at your bedside.
I can also support you by researching your most confusing questions and providing capable planning and organization.
As someone with a reverence for nature, I have chosen to represent my services by incorporating the fern and the feather.
The fern offers a sense of grounding, shelter, and wisdom—it is also used in my editorial businesses. The feather represents a lightness of being, which can be a symbol of letting go and reassurance that you are not alone.
Together, they represent a balance of body and spirit; earth and breath.
